Tiles/Units [Markers] Turn Counter: This is used to keep track of turns during play. It will repeat its position in the chat window when a selection is made. Drag out this counter somewhere on the board so each player can see it. It will not function from inside the Tile/Units window. Right-Click Turn Counter Menu -(ON/OFF) INITIATIVE CALL CTRL I This selection is used to call for a roll for initiative. After the roll is made by all players, select this function again to turn it off, then use the END TURN function to select the winner of the roll. -END TURN CTRL E This is used to select between PLAYER 1 and PLAYER 2 turns. -Delete CTRL X: To remove this counter from the game board. Creature Focus: This is an optional marker used to show where a creatures attack/spell is coming from and aiming at. To use it effectively, place the marker first on the originating unit, then drag to the effected unit or location. This action will repeat its movement on the chat window. Delete the marker after its use. An example of its use: -Player 1 (types in chat window): "Arcane Archer shoots an arrow" -Player 1 places the marker on his Arcane Archer then drags the marker to an enemy unit. This will display in the chat window: "Creature Focus moves R5 -> M11" This notifies Player 2 where the attack came from and where it is going to. Rather than using this marker you could just simply type in your intentions: "Arcane Archer (R5) shoots an arrow at Eye of Gruumsh (M11)" Right-Click Creature Focus Menu -Delete CTRL X: To remove this marker from the game board. Radius 2 / Radius 4 This marker is used to overlay a spell effect. Right-Click Radius Menu -Delete CTRL X: To remove this marker from the game board. Cone 1 / Cone 2 This marker is used to overlay a spell effect. Unfortuanetly we were not able to effectively combine both markers so that it can be rotated within one marker. So both markers will need to be dragged out to get an idea of where you wish to show a spell's area of effect. Right-Click Cone Menu -Rotate CW CTRL ] To rotate the cone clockwise. -Rotate CCW CTRL [ To rotate the cone counter-clockwise. -Delete CTRL X: To remove this marker from the game board. [Tiles] Tiles can be tricky to manipulate once placed on the game board. It can be easier to orientate the tile while its in the Tiles/Unit window prior to dragging it out on the game board. Then Left-Click+hold and drag transparent tile to new location and drop. -To access the tile's right click menu Shift+Right-Click it once to open the menu, then left click the selection you want. For large units, aim for the four square corners you wish to place them on. If you need to return a unit to a previous location because of an error, its safer and more efficent to count how many times it was moved on the chat window and then hit the Undo Last Move button (top left button on Chat window) the same number of times. Right-Click Unit Menu -Unit Name (HP) CTRL H: This is used to keep track of the units hitpoints. The units hitpoints are defaulted to the starting hitpoints of that unit. -Condition CTRL C: Use this to mark a unit with a condition. If your unit decides to take a full action and not move, you will need to select this to show it's movement has been completed for this round. Also use this to deselect the movement marker if the unit routed before its turn during a round. To deselect all units moved markers on the board after the end of a round, use the "Mark all pieces on this map as not moved" button on the chat window. -Choose Player Color CTRL P: All the units are set to Player 1 (Green) by default. Once Player 2 chooses his units, right click each unit and select Choose Player Color (Ctrl-P). This will select the only other color red.
